생성형 인공지능과 이야기 창작 : 프롬프트를 중심으로
본 논문은 생성형 인공지능을 활용하여 이야기를 창작하는 과정에 있어서 질문 즉, 프롬프트의 중요성과 생성된 결과물에 대한 수용적 및 비판적 입장에 대 해 고찰해 본다. 키오스크로 주문만 하면 음식이 조리되어 나오는 것처럼 이제 이야기도 주문하는 시대이다. 내가 만들고 싶은 이야기를 챗GPT와 같은 생성 AI 에게 주문만 하면 1분도 채 걸리지 않아 이야기가 생성된다. 빠르고 편리한 만큼 위험한 요소도 있다. 생성물에 대한 사용자의 무분별한 수용적 자세는 사고력과 창의력을 위험하게 만든다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 질문 즉 프롬프트의 능력을 키워야 한다. 본 연구에서는 13세의 초등학생 9명을 대상으로 챗GPT에게 자유 롭게 질문하여 이야기를 창작한 경우와 블라디미르 프로프의 민담 형태론 31가 지를 활용하여 질문한 경우를 비교하면서 프롬프트의 중요성과 인공지능 시대에 글쓰기 영역 중 하나인 이야기 창작에 대해 고찰해 보았다.
Generative Artificial Intelligence and Narrative Creation : A Focus on Prompts
This paper explores the significance of prompts and the need for both receptive and critical perspectives on the outcomes in the process of creating stories using generative artificial intelligence. In the era of AI, where one can simply instruct platforms like ChatGPT to generate a story, the convenience comes with potential risks. Indiscriminate acceptance of generated content by users poses a danger to cognitive abilities and creativity. To overcome this, it is crucial to enhance the ability to question, essentially improving the power of prompts. In this study, we reflect on the importance of prompts and the art of storytelling in the age of artificial intelligence, utilizing Vladimir Propp's 31 functions of folktales as a framework.
