‘자기 성찰적 글쓰기’ 교육의 필요성과 의의 － ‘진정성’ 개념을 중심으로
본 논문에서는 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 ‘자기 성찰적 글쓰기’에 대한 논의가 주 로 자기 홍보나 정보 전달 등 특정한 목적을 위한 실용적이고 도구적인 기능이나 또는 내면의 고백을 통해 정서적 안정을 꾀하는 치유적 기능에 집중하여 전개되 면서 정작 ‘자기 성찰적 글쓰기’의 필요성과 교육적 가치에 대한 이론적 근거를 충분히 제공해주지 못한다는 문제의식에서 출발한다. 이에 ‘진정성(Authenticity)’ 개념에 대한 분석을 통해 ‘자기 성찰적 글쓰기’에 서 다루고 있는 “나는 누구인가”라는 질문이 함축하고 있는 인문학적 성찰의 가 치를 제시하고, 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 이론적 근거를 고찰하여 ‘자기 성찰적 글 쓰기’의 필요성을 제고하고, 대학 글쓰기 교육의 목표와 부합하면서 ‘자기 성찰 적 글쓰기’의 교육적 효과를 발현할 수 있는 체계적이고 현실적인 교육과정에 대 한 연구의 필요성을 제안하고자 한다.
The Necessity and Significance of ‘Self-reflection Writing’ Education: Focusing on the Concept of ‘Authenticity’
This paper starts with identifying a problem in the discussion on university writing education. Self-reflection is a fundamental ability in all possible areas of life. But 'self-reflection writing' in university writing education mainly focuses on practical and instrumental functions for specific purposes such as self-promotion or information delivery, or on healing functions for emotional stability through inner confession, and thus the discussion does not sufficiently provide a theoretical basis for the necessity and educational value of 'self-reflection writing'. Therefore, through the analysis of the concept of authenticity, the value of humanistic reflection implied by the question "Who am I" in "self-reflection writing" is presented, the need for 'self-reflection writing' is enhanced by examining the theoretical basis that can support this. Lastly I would like to propose the necessity of research on a systematic and realistic curriculum that can develop a theory on the educational effect of 'self-reflection writing’ in line with the goals of university writing education.
