한국 봉기(蜂起) 매체의 도구적 특성과 활용의 과제
이 글은 한국 사회의 근현대 삶 속에 발현된 변혁적 에너지, ‘파괴 후/또는 재 생’이라는 전환적 원리를 바로 이 시민 봉기의 결집 과정을 관찰하는 가운데 발 견할 수 있을 것이라는 전제에서 출발한다. 봉기는 그것에 대한 역사적 판단의 상대성으로 인해 어느 특정한 현상에 비추어 정의되기 어렵고 그것의 발생기간 과 참여주체가 확정되는 것 역시 다양한 이견이 있을 수 있다. 그러므로 봉기의 형태로 포착되는 집결체 발생의 이유와 유의미성 등을 고찰하기 위해서는 그것 의 생성과 운용 원리의 측면을 조명하는 것이 더 적절할 것으로 보았다. 그리하 여 이 글에서는 바로 그 봉기에 참여하는 이들을 연결하는 방법적 측면에서 매체 라는 도구와, 그것이 전투의 무기이자 연대의 방편으로 사용되면서 발휘되는 속 성을 간취해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저, 한국 근현대 사회에서 봉기의 매체 로 사용된 도구들에 관한 연구 자료나 봉기의 매체 기능을 수행한 것으로 판단할 수 있는 문화적 실행 사례들을 검토해 보았다. 그리고 이어지는 장들에서 그 검 토와 분석 결과로 간취할 수 있는 한국 봉기 매체의 작용적 특성에 대한 두 가지 논점과 현재적 진화 양상을 정리해보았다. 이 과정에서 봉기의 매체가 차츰 표상 화되는 방식으로 진화해간다는 점, 그리고 봉기가 그 주체들의 생존 마지노선에 서 폭발적 변혁성을 발생시킨다는 점을 고찰해 보았다. 또한, 매체 유용성을 편 파적으로 강탈하거나 오용하는 양상이 산재한 한국 사회에서 비판적 매체 활용 을 위해 고려해야 할 지점을 반(反)-봉기 매체의 특성과 함께 논의해 보았다.
A Study on the Instrumental Characteristics and Utilization of the Korean Uprising Media
This article starts with the premise that the transformative principle of 'post-destruction or regeneration', a transformative energy expressed in the modern life of Korean society, can be found by observing the process of this civil uprising. The uprising is difficult to define in light of a specific phenomenon due to the relativity of historical judgment on it, and there can be various differences in the period of its occurrence and the determination of the participants. Therefore, in order to consider the reasons and significance of the occurrence of aggregates captured in the form of uprising, it was considered more appropriate to illuminate aspects of its creation and operation principle. Therefore, in this article, I tried to take a look at the tools of the medium in terms of how to connect those who participated in the uprising, and the attributes that are exerted as it is used as a weapon of combat and solidarity. For this first, I reviewed research data on tools used as a medium of uprising in Korean modern society, or examples of cultural practices that could be judged to have performed the function of uprising. In the following chapters, two issues and current evolutionary aspects of the functional characteristics of the Korean uprising media, which can be captured as a result of the review and analysis, are summarized. In this process, I considered that the medium of the uprising gradually evolved in a way that is represented, and that the uprising caused explosive transformation in the sense of survival border. In addition, I discussed the points to be considered for the use of critical media in the Korean society, where the usefulness of the media is robbed in a biased way and misused.
