시민 문화예술 활동에서 거점공간의 역할
문화예술이 시민 기반의 일상생활과 결합되어 문화화 되기 위해서는 문화예 술의 실질적인 주체구성과 문화예술이 결합되는 공간의 역할이 매우 중요하다. 시민문화예술 활동에서 거점공간은 시민문화라는 콘텐츠가 가공되어 사회구성원 들이 서로 그 가치를 공유하기 위해서는 거점으로서의 공간을 필요로 한다. 거점 공간은 시민문화예술의 차원에서 지역 문화자원과 공간자원을 재구성하여 생활 기반 공간을 활성화한 공간의 문화적 관계망을 의미한다. 시민문화예술 활동을 지속적으로 실행하는 33개 단체의 설문을 통해 시민문화예술교육에서 거점공간 은 단순한 프로그램형 공간에서 궁극적으로는 네트워크형 공간으로의 전환을 지 향하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 거점공간은 문화예술활동의 확장을 통해 단순한 학 습장의 기능에서부터 시민들이 기획자로서의 역할로 성장하면서 사업장으로서의 성격으로 전환되며, 궁극적으로는 지역의 다양한 공간이나 단체의 활동들과 연계 되는 협력장으로 성장한다.
The Role of Hub Space in the Revitalization of Citizen’s Arts & Culture Acitivities
In order for culture and arts to be combined with citizen-based daily life, the role of space becomes more important as the space where the subject and contents of culture and arts are combined in the context of vibrant citizenship. In civic culture and art activities, the hub space is processed with the contents of civil culture, so that social members need space as a base to share their values with each other. The hub space means the cultural network of the space that has revitalized the various arts and cultural places of everyday lives by reconstructing local cultural and spatial resources at the level of easy realization of citizenship. A survey taken by 33 local organizations that continuously carry out civic culture and arts activities shows that the hub space in civil culture and arts education is ultimately aimed at shifting from a simple program-type space to a network-type space.
